The subject may be landscape or texture pattern and color. Going where curiosity leads me, I work in various styles and experiment with diverse mediums on canvas, such as modeling paste, gauze, rubbings in oil pastel and both water-based and oil paint. Equal parts witness and participant in the painting process I engage in a waking dream on canvas. I hope my work evokes a mood, memory or sense of mystery that may inspire viewers to linger and perhaps see more than at first meets the eye. I look forward to meeting you at the 2017 Artists Studio Views tour.
