Save the Dates: Saturday & Sunday, September 1-2, 2018 | 11am-5pm | 30 Open Studios | A Free Self-Guided Tour
Mark you calendars for our 11th annual Art Studio Views over Labor Day weekend: Saturday, September 1st and Sunday, September 2nd, 2018 ~ celebrating community art.
Many thanks to the hundreds of “tour”ists that visited the 30 studios in 2017. We appreciate your support, your dialog, your purchases, and especially your feedback.
With the financial support of local businesses and individuals, the ASV tour continues to be a free, self-guided event designed to promote the artwork and talents of local artists in Northern Dutchess & Southern Columbia counties. Artists from Hyde Park, Rhinebeck, Red Hook, Tivoli, and Germantown open their studios to the public, share their creative environments, and help visitors understand the inspiration that drives their passions.
Spearheaded by the artists themselves, Art Studio Views is supported by local sponsors who, through their generous support, enable artists to host this open studio event. Please support the businesess that support the Arts!
For a sense of the ASV tour, please sit back and watch our 2017 35-minute video produced by tour artist Franc Palaia (& photographed by Harvey Silver) for cable Panda TV -23 about the 10th annual Art Studio Views Tour. This year features collage artist & children’s book illustrator James Ransome, printmaker extraordinaire Louise Kalin, color-filled abstract painter & jeweler Kate Kennedy, tour founder & amazing stained glass artist Doris Cultraro, and mixed-media sculptor Ellen Jouret-Epstein.
The 2016 Panda TV video is also uploaded.
