Rhinebeck

71 East Market Street, Rhinebeck, NY 12572

artgallery71.com

In the tradition of the Salon de Paris, art is displayed ‘salon style’ utilizing much of the floor to ceiling space in the manner still employed by the Barnes Foundation today. As a result, there are always many works on display at any given time and visitors are encouraged to linger.

The gallery is artist owned and operated with the artists sharing in the gallery expenses and management. The gallery itself does not seek to make a profit, investing any surplus income back into the gallery operation. Commissions are not imposed; rather full sale proceeds are retained by the selling artist.

Our artists have strong ties to the community and view their investment in the gallery as much as a community service as an outlet to sell their work, welcoming browsers and buyers alike with enthusiasm, in the celebration of art and the positive impact it has on society.

Art Gallery 71 is a participant in this year’s Rhinebeck Arts Walk and will be hosting receptions from 5-7pm during Third Saturdays.

Greig Farm is a family farm located in Red Hook, NY. We think of the farm as an agricultural park. We welcome our community to visit the farm to pick seasonal fruits and vegetables, walk along our scenic farm trails, and spend a day here with friends and family. We’re proud to have been stewards of this land since 1942.

We’re committed to further pursuing environmentally beneficial practices that build soil health and support resilient ecosystems. We apply a few simple principles: we minimize soil disturbance and use cover crops between harvests, we seek out natural solutions before using inputs, and we maintain a variety of plants and animals on our land.
