Diane grew up in the Seattle area and moved to New York City in 1988, where she worked in film and later as a graphic designer. Since 2009, she has been a sought-after wedding photographer known for her documentary approach and eye for emotion.  In 2006, Diane and her wife moved to the Hudson Valley, where they now live on three bucolic acres in Rhinebeck with their dog. Surrounded by nature and changing seasons, Diane’s painting practice has become an extension of her lifelong interest in storytelling, memory, and landscape.
